Background

Jin Park is the President/Principal Consultant at PHI Engineering LLC.  Mr. Park worked in the medical device industry for 15+ years and has extensive background developing medical devices for interventional cardiology and endovascular applications. 

Mr. Park started his professional career at Memry Corporation in 1995 working with shape memory alloys (SMA) and applications.  At Memry, he worked on numerous nitinol-based implant medical devices and assumed responsibility for key product lines. 

In 2001, he joined the Advanced R&D division of Cordis, Johnson & Johnson as stent designer, working on coronary and peripheral stent projects.  Mr. Park was responsible for developing the next generation Co-Cr coronary stent and next generation AAA device.  He assumed responsibility for supply chain development and transferring manufacturing process overseas.  He was recognized for his innovative design excellence by Johnson and Johnson with "Philip B. Hofmann Research Scientist Award" in 2005.  He is an inventor on 4 issued US patents with 18 patents pending.
